In 1993, Vista Group worked with General Motors and Silver Pictures/Warner Bros. to secure the use of GM's concept cars for the futuristic film Demolition Man. This was the first wrap-around entertainment marketing program involving every division within GM, and including licensing and branding rights from the film.

The production company built matching mockups of GM's Ultralight to use as police vehicles in the film under the direction of GM Design Staff. After filming, these vehicles were also displayed at the GM Stockholders meeting and at auto shows and other events to ensure coverage in the automotive press.

The Mattel Hot Wheels Collector's Set of General Motors Design Staff Demolition Man cars has appreciated 900% in 10 years, and are sought after by collectors.

The GM Ultralight police car even made an appearance on the Demolition Man Pinball machine.

Coordinated with the release of the film, MTV held the "Countdown to Demolition" live on its channels worldwide.

In the end, everything was demolished!
